Oil India Limited (OIL) has announced a major business opportunity for unemployed individuals in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Through this tender, the company wants to hire brand-new ambulances to provide emergency medical services in its operational areas.
This is a long-term contract where the selected person will provide the vehicle, medical equipment, and trained staff for over four years.
What Is This Tender About?
Oil India Limited needs ambulances to handle medical emergencies in remote areas where they operate. Instead of buying these vehicles, they want to hire them from local people.
Who Can Apply?
This tender is strictly for individuals, not for big companies. To apply, you must meet these rules:
- Status: You must be unemployed.
- Registration: You must have a valid Employment Exchange Card.
- Age: You must be between 18 and 55 years old.
- Location: You must be a resident of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh.
- Registration Location: Your Employment Exchange Card must be from specific areas like Duliajan, Dibrugarh, Digboi, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Doomdooma, Namrup, Sonari, Moranhat, Changlang, or Zila Sainik Welfare Offices.
Vehicle Details
Applicants can apply for two types of ambulances. Both must be brand new and meet specific safety standards (AIS-125 Type-C).
- Category 1: Force Traveller T1 (Larger, 9 seats + Patient).
- Category 2: Tata Winger FL (Smaller, 7 seats + Patient).
Note: You can apply for both, but one person can win only one contract. You buy the vehicle only after you win the contract.
How Much Will You Earn?
OIL pays a fixed monthly amount to cover the vehicle, staff, and maintenance.
- Force Traveller (24-hour service): Approx. ₹2,12,297 per month.
- Tata Winger (24-hour service): Approx. ₹2,10,912 per month.
- Tata Winger (16-hour service): Approx. ₹1,53,406 per month.
Staff Requirements
You are not just providing a car; you are providing a service. You must hire the following crew for the ambulance:
- Driver
- Helper
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
If the ambulance runs for 24 hours, you must hire 3 sets of crew members to work in shifts.
Contract Duration
- Setup Time: Once you win, you get 3 months to buy the ambulance and get everything ready.
- Contract Length: The work contract lasts for 4 years and 3 months.
How Are Winners Selected?
- Lottery System: Selection is not based on who offers the lowest price. It is done through a “Draw of Lots” (Lottery).
- Application: You apply online first.
- Security Deposit: If you are selected in the lottery, you have to pay a security deposit of ₹10,000.
