To Be Eligible To Register In Texas, You Must:

How to Write

Step 1 – Download the Texas Voter Registration Application to begin.

Step 2 – In section (1) of the voter registration form, choose one (1) of the first three (3) available options to specify the purpose of the application. Below that, select “Yes” or “No” to indicate the following:

• Are you a US citizen?
• Will you be eighteen (18) years of age on or before the election day?
• Are you interested in serving as an election worker?

Step 3 – In sections (2) through (5), enter the following details in the available fields:

• Last name
• First name
• Middle initial (if any)
• Former name (if any)
• Street, city, county, and zip code of residence
• If mail cannot be delivered to residence address, enter the street, city, state, and zip code of mailing address
• City and county of former residence in Texas

Step 4 – For sections (6) through (9), provide your date of birth, sex, telephone number, and your Texas driver’s license number or Texas personal ID number.
